Where should I stay in the city?

Answer

We recommend staying in Airbnbs or hotels. Neighborhoods we suggest are North Beach, Embarcadero, Castro, Sunset, Union Square, Nob Hill or Marina. We would suggest avoiding the Tenderloin.

What weather should I expect and how should I dress?

Answer

In November you can typically expect great weather and sunny skies! During the day our temperatures are typically 60-70 degrees, and tend to drop to 50-60 towards the evening. We always suggest wearing layers!

Are car break ins something to be worried about?

Answer

Yes (unfortunately). However, you can easily avoid a break-in by never leaving items in your car. The people who tend to be affected by this are tourists who leave suitcases/purses/bags/headphones/cords or any other valuables visible in the car. We suggest dropping off all belongings at your accommodations before exploring the city.
