BFF since day 1 Grace could never get married without her twin sister by her side! Grace has always felt so lucky to have a built in bestie as her sister. They have an unspeakable bond that only twins understand. Even though they are a state away, they are able to stay as close as ever through frequent Skype calls and visits! Carly has given Grace one of the best gifts of all: the opportunity to be Auntie Grace. Grace loves her nephew and niece Wyatt and Madison with all her heart. Grace has cherished every moment of watching Carly build a family and a successful career. Carly is a rockstar mom and beloved 6th grade science teacher extraordinaire. Grace can't wait to dance the night away with Carly, and is honored to have her sister there for this special day.

As legend has it, a young Tyler sauntered across the playground at Bird Rock Elementary toward the new kid at school and declared to him, "you have big eyes like me." The rest is history. Tyler and Jace did everything together growing up whether it was skating or surfing, hiking or backpacking, or playing Halo or studying. Naturally, as adults, the adventures progressed to running with the bulls in Spain. Through all the years, Jace has been Tyler's best friend, closest confidant, and role model. Those who know Jace know his limitless kindness, inexhaustible reasonableness, and can-do attitude. Tyler could not be more honored to have him by his side for this day.
Colleen Webb
Maid of Honor
Grace's other half/PA school bestie/DG sister! Grace and Colleen's friendship was the best thing to come out of grad school. (Who needs a degree when they have each other?!) From living in the same apartment complex to traveling around New Mexico, Colorado and Texas, to karaoke bars, late-night studying, grocery shopping, working out and everything in between, they were inseparable. While they live on opposite sides of the country, they are thriving long-distance style.Colleen has so many admirable qualities and is an overall incredible person. She is a true leader and can achieve anything she sets her mind to. She truly lights up a room and brings happiness to everyone who knows her. Grace could not be more proud to be able to call Colleen her best friend and Maid of Honor!

Tyler met Carter on a fateful college recruiting trip. They struck up a conversation over some cold Natty Bohs and warm basement jungle juice, and decided they'd be roommates if they enrolled. Tyler and Carter became fast friends. Starting at 5am with swim practice and ending at 3am either in the library or the local bar, they spent most waking hours of college together. Carter is the only reason Tyler got out of bed each morning. Literally. Each morning before swim practice, Carter would hurl his pillow from across the room onto Tyler's head and flip the lights on and off until he got up. And Carter always made sure Tyler had a home away from home on the East Coast. Tyler has always admired Carter's no-nonsense approach to life and cherished his good company and steadfast friendship.

Grace's BFF/kindred spirit Started at the bottom, now they're here! Katlin and Grace became attached at the hip when they met in a Nursing Assistant program in 2013. Grace can always count on Kat to be there to support her and be her biggest cheerleader in all her endeavors. (Hey, Kat, remember that time you guys ran a half marathon?) Now Kat's a rockstar ICU RN providing care on the front lines during the pandemic. And while 2020 was rough, the best gift came out of it: Kat and Casey welcomed their daughter, Miss Radley Rae, into the world on April 24. They have made parenting look easy and the love in their family is overwhelming. Grace is honored to be one of Rad's Aunties. Katlin is a kind, thoughtful, and loving bestie and Grace is so lucky to have her by her side for her big day!

Friend, teammate, classmate, roommate, and colleague, among many distinctions. Tyler and Nick spent their college, grad school, and early careers together. Through all the years, Nick has been the friend who pulls you into his adventures, large or small, whether dropping into a double black diamond in Park City or throwing his car into 6th gear on the 101 (just to get a rise out of his passengers). Tyler has always admired Nick's uncanny ability to balance his fierce competitiveness and talents with his light-hearted, humble spirit. Tyler is grateful to have Dr. Nick Schmidt in his life.

Sister-in-Law/Partner in Crime Kate immediately welcomed Grace into the family. Over the years, Kate and Grace have become so close and they enjoy every moment spent together. Grace openly admits one of the best parts about marrying Tyler has been getting Kate as a sister. Tyler sure is lucky to have two hilarious, smart, gorgeous gals in his life! (Right, Kate?!) The three of them are peas in a pod although Kate and Grace do occasionally gang up on Tyler (only when he deserves it of course). Kate is one of the best human beings Grace knows and her big heart shines through in all she does. Grace can't wait to watch Kate's career skyrocket after she graduates with her Masters in Social work from UCLA. Grace is incredibly honored to have Kate as a bridesmaid, and most importantly, a sister!
Dylan Coggin

For Tyler, college would not have been the same without having Dylan as a roommate, teammate and friend. Whether Tyler bombed a test, had a lousy race, or just had an old fashioned bad day, he could always count on Dylan for a belly laugh or good-humored banter. To those who know him, Dylan is a boundless source of joy and amusement. He also availed himself to Tyler's equally boundless questions about their economics assignments, for which Dylan was an adept resource (thanks for putting up with that, Dylan). Tyler is honored to have Dylan in his life.
Nicole Peone

College roomie/pal for life Thank goodness for Jeanie Moore's "freshman" English class. Nicole and Grace met as transfer students at the University of San Diego in 2012. They went on to live together and had some of the best times of their lives! Nicole's excellent work ethic and inherent strength inspired Grace. They worked together towards their future goals, but were also able to have some fun along the way! From late night talks, including much wine and hysterical laughing fits, to Katie B CorePower Yoga classes they didn't just survive at USD, they thrived! Grace was nervous about moving to Sacramento and thankfully Nicole was there to make it feel more like home. Grace is honored to have Nicole by her side on her big day.
Christian Osmena

Tyler met Christian in 2015 while seeking a job in civil service. Christian, who worked at the Department of Finance, convinced Tyler that it was a great place to start a career in government. Lo and behold Tyler gained a colleague, dear friend, and role model. Some might suspect Christian's spectacular work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and professionalism leave little room for fun or friendship. In fact, Christian, who as it so happened sat on one of Tyler's interview panels, much later remarked that Tyler's interview was quote: "less than spectacular." But Christian is always the first to drag Tyler and Grace out for a good time, whether its a 90s cover band at a biker bar or a new restaurant downtown. Tyler is fortunate to have a friend like Christian.
