Grace and Tyler's #TinderSuccessStory began when they both swiped right in July 2014 while both living in their hometown of San Diego. At the time, Grace was working at a memory care facility and taking prerequisite classes for Physician Assistant school and Tyler was working his first job out of college at a health science consulting firm. As Grace's first Tinder date, Tyler set the bar high. After a few dates, which included margaritas, ice cream, and coaster rides, they ditched the app and went steady. That was the swipe of their lives!

It was an otherwise casual Wednesday night and Tyler had planned a dinner date at one of their favorite Sacramento restaurants--Zocalo. On their walk to dinner, Tyler wanted to stop at the Capitol Rose Garden to show Grace a "rare flower." At this point, Grace was a bit apprehensive (and on her way to being hangry). But, as they walked around the garden searching for the flower, Grace turned around to find Tyler on one knee. (We see what you did there Tyler, Grace was the flower!) Tyler had a friend hiding nearby to take photos of the whole affair and had all of their Sacramento loved ones waiting for them at the apartment to pop some bubbly and celebrate!
