FAQs & Dress Code

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

In keeping with the style of our celebration, we kindly request formal attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suit and tie with a jacket. Ladies are encouraged to wear long dresses or gowns and embrace the season with fresh spring colors and designs. We invite you to have fun with it — after all, who doesn’t love an excuse to dress up? To maintain the elevated atmosphere of our wedding, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, hats, flip-flops, or cowboy boots. Thank you for your understanding and for celebrating with us.

Question

Where is the wedding venue located?

Answer

Serra Plaza 31910 Del Obispo San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We graciously ask everyone to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus-ones have been extended only to those specifically noted on the invitation. If a guest is included, their name will be listed on your invitation. If not, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Can I bring my child?

Answer

This will be an adults-only celebration. Please plan ahead should childcare be needed.

Question

Are there hotel room blocks reserved?

Answer

No, we decided not to do hotel room blocks. However, on our "Travel" page you will find a list of several nearby hotel options! There are also many Airbnb options nearby.

Question

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, with cocktail hour held indoors.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is parking available at the venue—but with an open bar and a night meant for celebrating, we highly encourage using Uber or Lyft so you can fully enjoy yourselves (and get home safely).

Question

Is a rental car recommended?

Answer

It all depends on what you are wanting to do while visiting Southern California! For example, if you are flying to and from LAX- it would be a lot cheaper to rent a car than to uber. If you are wanting to go take a day trip to another beach/Disneyland one of the days it would also make more sense to do so. However, if you are staying local and fly to and from SNA or LGB, you might be able to get away with uber services instead!
