After a few messages back and forth on a dating app (shoutout Hinge), Tim asked Grace if she wanted to meet for a drink. He suggested Haswell Green's on 52nd St, unknowingly picking Grace's favorite bar in NYC for their first date. On date night, after Grace *almost* cancelled the date at the last second, Grace as usual was running 10 minutes late, and Tim said, 'no worries, I'm in the first seat to the right inside the door.' When Grace arrived at the bar, looking for the clean shaven, jersey wearing man from the dating app profile, she walked right past Tim...because the man at the first table to the right had a full beard and a flannel on. Lucky for Tim, Grace likes men with beards. Fast forward a year of Islanders and Jets games, late night Ducks football games, a couple bouts of long distance, and a PT school graduation, Grace and Tim got their first apartment together in NYC. Once settled in, it was time to get the next addition to the family - Grace's dog, Thanos, made the journey from Portland, Oregon to complete their little family. Timmy's bestest boy quickly made himself at home, going to Grace for cuddles and Tim for nutso play time. Soon after, despite a slight snafu with the photographer, Tim got down on one knee in the snow atop Mt Hood and asked Grace to be his wife. After a year the NYC one bedroom quickly felt too small for two people and a 75 pound dog, so Grace and Tim decided for the next chapter of their lives to move to Philadelphia. That's where we find them now, adjusting to life as Pennsylvanians with every step bringing them closer to the big day!
