Wonderful little lake for swimming! It's cold, but refreshing! There is a great trail to do a short loop walk around the lake.
A mainstay of the our Whistler weekends, this course is a truly epic one that climbs to a showstopper 18th hole. We've played many a game here with friends- a great free activity to be outside and social with a large group. Discs can be purchased in the Village at Evolution.
Open 11am -4pm on Sunday Walk around and see what local craft and food vendors have on display! Some food faves are baked samosas w/ homemade chutney from Nhidi's cuisine, Jeggs (Japanese Egg Okonomiyaki), Fort Berens wine and Jacklot prints/art.
Take the gondola up either mountain for amazing views of the Whistler area and hiking trials in the alpine. The Peak 2 Peak connects both mountains as a record breaking engineering marvel. Grace recommends riding all the way up the Peak chair (S&G's favourite ski lift) on Whistler and hiking the Half Note trail and concluding with a beer at the Umbrella bar before hopping on the Peak 2 Peak and downloading Blackcomb.
A Whistler mainstay for amazing baked goods - sweet & savoury! Grace recommends the Buckwheat Sour Cherry Scone, Morning Bun, or the Raspberry Cheesecake brownie.
Our favorite sushi restaurant in Whistler's upper village- unassuming, peaceful and delicious sushi and sake offerings.
A piece of the Nychka history. This is the upscale Italian restaurant Allie worked during her time living in Whistler. It has changed ownership since her tenure, but is still a lovely place for dinner.
A Mike Reid Classic. The Keg (Canadian Steakhouse chain)'s Whistler location. For the full MR experience order the Prime Rib keg Classic dinner with a wedge salad, and baked potato. Start with the Garlic Cheese toast and if you're feeling extra bold try a keg size ceasar.
They don't call it the big burn for nothing. Hike to the top of Blackcomb Mountain... truly an achievement of 1200m. This activity is best followed by a beer and views at the mountain top Rondezvous lodge before hopping on the gondola down! (Also a great way to see the top and the Peak 2 Peak gondola without paying for a ticket. ;)
A beautiful hike for the less vertically inclined- a flatter option out-and-back along a beautiful turquoise glacier fed lake. You will need a car to drive to the trailhead.
Located steps from Nita lake Lodge in Creekside. A Whistler establishment- cozy small dining room serving upscale French & fusion fare. You will need a reservation and to book far ahead to snag a table.
Steps from Nita Lake Lodge in Creekside. Casual pizza restaurant that is a Whistler fave. Thoughtfully sourced gourmet & organic wood-fired pizza in rustic-chic surroundings.
Located just outside of Creekside this is a locally owned Whistler institution since 1986. Warm, alpine lodge atmosphere, known for fresh seafood, premium game, and an award-winning wine list.
Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre (SLCC) – the heart of Whistler's authentic Indigenous experience – a First Nations Museum, Art Gallery and Gift Shop. The Cultural Centre displays both permanent and temporary exhibitions which showcase the many aspects of the Squamish and Lil’wat nations cultural history, traditions and practices from ancient times to modern day.
