Our goal for the weekend is to share a little bit of both of our cultures with all of you! The Welcome Party will have delicious food, drinks, a mehndi station for guests, and plenty of time for great conversation and mingling! The 30-minute ceremony will be a unique blend of Indian and Western traditions, incorporating key elements from both cultures—vibrant rituals, music, and customs—to create a memorable experience!
We want all our guests to feel comfortable and celebrate with us in their own unique style! Whether you choose to wear traditional Indian attire or Western fashion, we welcome whatever makes you feel best. The bride, groom, and wedding party will be wearing Indian attire most of the weekend. Welcome Party: Semi-formal - Indian attire: Women can consider a saree, lehenga set, salwar suit, or Indowestern casual wear. Men can wear a kurta set or a short kurta with casual pants. - Western attire: Women can choose a cocktail dress, midi dress, or jumpsuit. Men can wear a tailored suit or blazer with dress pants, or a smart button-down shirt with casual pants. A tie is optional. Ceremony and reception: Formal - Indian attire: Women can choose a saree, an embellished lehenga set, or a long anarkali dress. Men can opt for a formal sherwani, a bandhgala jacket with trousers, Jodhpuri suit, or a tailored kurta set. - Western attire: Women can consider a formal long or midi dress, dressy cocktail dress, or a chic tailored jumpsuit or separates. Men can wear a classic suit or with a formal dress shirt and tie.
