If you wish to stay in an AirBnB or a different hotel, we recommend the following neighborhoods: South Congress: Matt and Grace will be staying at The Austin Motel. You are welcome to join us there or to stay at another hotel on South Congress or in that neighborhood! Zilker: Near Barton Springs Pool, the South Lamar food scene, and Zilker park. Great place to stay for families. Bouldin Creek: Near South 1st St shopping and food, between Zilker and South Congress neighborhoods. Downtown: This is where we have our hotel block at Hotel Indigo. There are plenty of hotels in this area and they are all walking distance to the neighborhoods mentioned above. East Caesar Chavez/Central East Austin: This area is best for folks without kids. A hip part of Austin with great food and bars.
