Co-Maid of Honor
The bride and Lexus shared a room smaller than most bathrooms for three years until they lived directly above/ below each other their senior year... of High School. While some may never believe it, they did not have the best start - Almost even got a roommate divorce at one point! They thank their friendship to the faithful bagel story... Lexus decided one night to eat a bagel in Grace's bed (while she was in it and knowing she was very OCD), but it turned into HOURS of both emotional and amazing conversation which became the foundation of their current friendship. Yes, a bagel in bed is the cause of their amazing friendship.
Best Man
It has been many moons and whiskeys since Son and the groom first met at their alma mater, Baylor University. Although they haven't resided in the same timezone since right after college, their shared love of beers and whisky held them together. At Baylor University, both were members of the Baylor Chamber of Commerce bonding over various tasks including taking care of their beloved school mascot (north American black bears) and hosting Baylor Homecomings. The groom fondly remembers hunting a prized Japanese whiskey for this man in Japan across multiple days and he doesn't regret it one bit as they shall be drinking it together again soon.
Co-Maid of Honor
To be honest, the biggest reason Diana and the bride first became friends is because people kept telling each of them they had a twin... not to mention their English teacher kept handing the wrong paper back to the wrong girl . While at the beginning of Sophomore year of High School they were just "aware" of each other, they can thank Volleyball for the fire to kickstart their friendship. During practice they bonded over their love of Korean dramas/Kpop and to this day still talk about the latest dramas to watch. From high school volleyball to post work drinking sessions, they've grown closer than friends and can call each other family (some of their friends even believed they were real life cousins!)
Groomsman
Although Kevin and the groom both went to Baylor University, their path didn't cross until one of them graduated. No one could have guessed that one 3 hour long drive from Waco to Dallas after Baylor Homecoming was the start of a lifelong friendship. Kevin and the groom may be found in LA, eating Korean BBQ, hiking, and watching Dodgers games, usually with a pint. When the groom was hunting for the said prized Japanese whisky over multiple days, Kevin was there to help him find it. It's possible that Kevin was perplexed on the groom's fixation for the whiskey, but the groom hopes he doesn't mind now, as he is about to have some.
Bridesmaid
For those of you who know both Jamie and the bride well... we can joke about Freshman year Jamie's looks and Freshman Year Gum‘s everything! While they've known each other since freshman year of College, they didn't get close until Jamie moved back to LA post Law School. While Jamie grew out of her Freshman year fashion and Grace matured from Freshman year Gum, they still have a good laugh thinking back. You can usually find our duo playing overcooked together or out drinking like they're 21 again.
Groomsman
When the groom left Texas, he wanted to meet new people and Igor was one of them when he moved to LA. As coworkers, there were countless nights and meetings where the two sat side by side as engineers yelling at the computer screens. However, it wasn't always hardships, they definitely did have their fair share of good times including Cinco de Mayo celebrations, scooting through San Diego and their epic Premier League soccer trip in England. If you see this man, please do remind him to be punctual at candidate interviews and don't let them go over time. And yes, this man will also have some of that prized Japanese whiskey as well.
Bridesmaid
As the bride's younger sister, it’s hard to share the story of how they met considering it was a forced union...but the best forced union ever! They've literally been through it all and might be the only people who understand each other thanks to their unique family. While Diane had her moments in her teenage years where she refused to talk to the bride, the two have reconciled since and share a really special unnbreakable bond. They both would go to the ends of the earth for each other regardless of their giant age gap!
Groomswoman
Being the groom's sister, Binny has one of the hardest jobs in the world because he is far away from his family and Binny is the one who has had to fill in for his absence. However she has done an amazing job dealing with a stubborn brother and he could not be more proud of her balancing her own career and life all the while being the best sister and the best daughter. Binny is amazing and please do tell her that her brother is forever grateful. Although the groom didn't know much about whiskey when he and Binny went to Japan and she didn't get to partake in the whiskey hunt, she is sure to have some...Even though she doesn't like it too much.
