FAQs

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

We invite our guests to wear their best western attire and have fun with it! Cowboy hats are absolutely welcome. Dress jeans are acceptable; however, we kindly ask that they be paired with a jacket or sport coat. While we encourage western style, please keep in mind this is still a formal event. Felt hats and elevated western wear are encouraged.

Question

Are children welcome at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We respectfully ask that our wedding day be reserved for adult guests only. We hope this advance notice allows everyone to celebrate with us accordingly, and we cannot wait to share our special day with you.

Question

When should we arrive in Fredericksburg?

Answer

We encourage guests to arrive early and make a full weekend out of it! The bridal party will be in Fredericksburg starting Wednesday, March 17th, and our wedding is intentionally planned for Friday so everyone has Saturday to explore this charming Texas town. For those who can join us, we’re also hosting a welcome party on Thursday, March 18th — a perfect opportunity to mingle before the big day. Be sure to check out our Things to Do suggestions to help plan your stay and make the most of your weekend in Fredericksburg.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Late March in Fredericksburg is usually mild and pleasant, with daytime temperatures typically in the 60s–70s°F and cooler evenings. While spring weather can be unpredictable, it’s generally sunny with occasional breezes. Since our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, we recommend light layers, comfortable shoes for walking on grass, and a jacket or shawl for the evening, just in case.
