No, we will be having a private ceremony on Friday, October 10. Our reception on Saturday is our opportunity to celebrate with you!
Ideally, everyone will Uber, so that no one has to refrain from letting loose and enjoying their night to the fullest! Relatedly, if you are in a position to carpool, please do so! We do not anticipate parking being limited, but the less cars we have in the front yard the better.
Parking will be available in the front portion of our yard, closest to the street. If the weather does not cooperate, our surrounding neighbors have generously offered up their yards and driveways for parking! We may have bribed them with alcohol. Signs will be posted to direct you where to park.
We do not. Our home is already filled with so many things we have accumulated over the years, and you being with us to celebrate is our gift! That said, any monetary gifts will be used towards our honeymoon in Japan and Thailand and to help us pay for the wedding.
No, with the exception of my niece Livi, this is a kiddo-free wedding. Although we love your children, we want you to be able to enjoy your evening with us, free of any responsibility.
To be honest, I’m not sure anybody knows. In our heads, this means optional sport coats for men, dress shirts with no ties, sweaters (depending on the weather), and tailored pants. For women, please wear whatever dress (mini/midi/maxi), jumpsuit, or set you feel most comfortable in. We just want you all to feel your best.
Yes! Our plan is to have the wedding in our front yard/driveway. We have a backup plan if the weather does not cooperate, but please check the forecast day-of and dress accordingly. Heaters and blankets will be available.
