What should I wear?

Answer

Attire is formal/dressy, but suit jackets are not required. The weather will most likely be hot. The reception in the Ballroom will be fully air-conditioned, so you may find you need a light sweater, that is, until you get dancing!

What will be on the menu?

Answer

Cocktail hour will present some passed appetizers and when we move into the ballroom for dinner, there will be 4 food stations to choose from at your leisure. The stations include a Taco Bar, Wood-Fired Pizza, Gnocchi Bar, and Skewers Bar. All stations will include vegetarian options. If you have any other special dietary requirements, please let us know! Anyone with gluten allergies can be accommodated, though, cross-contamination with other cooking utensils is not guaranteed. Please let us know if outside food needs to be accommodated so that we can take care of it.

What is the schedule for the evening of September 5th?

Answer

Guests should start arriving to the venue around 5:30pm. Ceremony is to start promptly at 6pm on the lawn under the large Pecan tree, followed by cocktail hour in the Farmstead, followed by dinner and dancing in the Ballroom. Party will end at 11pm sharp. All guests will have 1 hour to make their exit from the premises.

Will there be a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding date?

Answer

There will be a gathering at Meanwhile Brewing for whomever is in town and wanting to join. It is casual and there are several food trucks to choose from as well as beer and other beverages. Please RSVP if you will be coming!

Where can I stay while in town?

Answer

There are a multitude of short-term rental options, which you can get on your own or you can opt for a hotel of your choice. We will have rooms blocked off at Embassy Suites specifically if you would like to stay near the venue (please let us know if you are interested so that we can block off the amount of rooms necessary). If you are unsure about what location your short term rental or hotel should be, please don't hesitate to ask!

Are there any other gatherings taking place post wedding?

Answer

Yes, Amanda Seaman, the maid of honor, will be hosting a late afternoon/evening gathering at her neighborhood amenity center on Saturday, September 6th! It's a very nice amenity center! All are welcome! There will be catered dinner and beverages provided and an awesome swimming pool to take a dip in, bring your swim suits and towels! There is even a splash zone for the kids! Please RSVP for this event if you wish to join!
