Rescue is a 2 to 2.5-hour drive from most parts of the San Francisco Bay Area, depending on traffic. We suggest you take I-80 E toward Sacramento, then transition to US-50 E toward Placerville.

Distance from Sacramento Airport to Rescue is approximately 45–50 minutes. Car Rentals: All major rental car companies are available at SMF. We highly recommend renting a car, as rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) are difficult to find in the Rescue area.
