It all started with a simple act of petty theft. Back at Fort Zumwalt West Middle School, Conor was the "cool kid" with the iconic Justin Bieber hair, and Grace was... well, she was just trying to survive science class. Conor asked to borrow a pencil; Grace handed one over, and he never gave it back. Little did she know, that pencil was a down payment on a lifetime together. Fast forward to 2020. Amidst the chaos of the early pandemic, Grace posted a particularly great photo (some might call it a "thirst trap"). Conor noticed. He slid into the DMs with a smooth—if slightly minimalist—"Hey." When Grace saw the notification, she didn’t just play it cool; she walked out of her room and told her family, "My seventh-grade self would be pooping her pants right now." Their first date was a quintessential 2020 night: drinks on Conor’s mom’s patio, a movie, and a late-night Taco Bell run. That "Fourth Meal" became such a staple in their relationship that it even made a guest appearance in their engagement photos. A month later, they were official. Since then, life has moved at warp speed: traveling, building a home, rescuing their "bubba boy" Bentley, and welcoming the biggest surprise of their lives—their baby boy, Luca. Now, they’re trading the Midwest for the Mediterranean for a wedding in Greece. Conor may still owe Grace a pencil, but he’s making up for it with a ring.
