Things To Do

Albuquerque/Santa Fe Recommendations

We made an interactive google map of some recommendations in the area. Click the link to explore, and keep reading for details.

Sandia Peak Tramway

30 Tramway Road Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87122

A fun ride on an aerial tram up to the crest of the Sandia Mountains for a view of the city! There is a 4000 ft elevation gain--prepare for it to be a bit more chilly at the top. (Sometimes there are wind delays/closures, so something to think about especially if you have dinner reservations or somewhere to be at 4pm on May 10th.)

Old Town

Historic adobe buildings centered around the plaza. Rattlesnake Museum (a must for kids and adults—closed on Sunday and Monday unfortunately) Albuquerque Museum of Art and History New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science Explora Science Center and Children's Museum Several Breaking Bad Tours (remember Breaking Bad?) leave from Old Town

Kid Friendly Activities

Botanical Gardens/Aquarium (ABQBioPark) Albuquerque Zoo Explora Children's Museum Pop Fizz (Can you say Choco Tacos?) - a food truck and sometimes hard to find Rattlesnake Museum (Old Town) The Tram
