Where should we stay?

Answer

Hotels and home rentals in the Albuquerque Uptown Area will be nearby the reception.

Will I need a car to get around?

Answer

Albuquerque is a fairly sprawled out city. It's 6.5 miles from the location of the ceremony (UNM Alumni Chapel) to the reception. Ride share options are available. It might be helpful to have a rental car if you're planning on exploring.

Do I need a passport do go to New Mexico?

Answer

Believe it or not, New Mexico is actually one of the 50 states. However, May 2025 happens to be the month TSA requires an enhanced drivers license or REAL ID to fly. If you are flying in and don’t have an enhanced ID yet, it would be safer to travel with your passport.

What will the weather be like? And what phase will the moon be in?

"May 10: Average high temperature is 77 and low temperature is 50. Expect high temp at 3PM and should be about 60 at 8PM. Sunrise at 6:06 and set at 7:59. Precipitation total for the last ten May 10ths is one hundredth of an inch--no rain likely. However, afternoon winds are common. Moon rise at 6:30 and will be 98% illuminated. Likely won't see the moon until 8:30 PM. I would suggest a sweater or jacket for the late afternoon and evening." - Keith Heise
