How 2 Goons fell in love

Quarter Life Crisis Ends with Epic Love Story

Once upon a time.... Chris and i were both in rough places in life and we were both offered to move to alaska around the same time to help out with the beloved Brothers Cafe (chris’s dad’s restaraunt). I was invited to move here by my friend from college, lilliana soza, and got here in November 2018. Chris’s parents wanted him to move home and they offered him a job at the cafe so he moved here 3 days after me. We started working together and i heard he was an MMA fighter and in my head i was like, ooo a work out partner. So i asked him if he would go to the gym with me cuz i was sketched out by the goony alaskan gyms and didnt want to go alone and i wanted him to train me. Then we basically just worked out together everyday for like 3 or 4 hours until 2am most nights. We spent half of the time working out and the other half just goofing off and geting to know each other. It was how we stayed sane during our first dark alaskan winter. I wouldnt have made it through without him. Anyways, overtime of working out and getting to know each other we knew we wanted to be more than friends. I was planning on only being in Alaska for 3 months but i didnt want to leave and be without him so i stuck it out and here we are about 3 years later.

2 Goons 1 Helicopter and 5,000lbs of Ice

The day i got ringed 3/28

Once upon a few weeks ago... Chris and i were planning to go to seward to check out a possible wedding venue since we started planning before the engagement (weird, i know but i dont regret it one bit). I told him the week before we were gonna be taking a trip to seward that sunday since thats my only day off. He insisted we go to girdwood (which is very much so out of the way) and i kept questioning him because usually he is the logistical one. I finally gave in and went along with his plan, only if he drove. Because he was so insistent on going to girdwood i knew something was up. He also said we had to meeet people there and be there at a certain time, so i went with it. That morning we leave esrly and start our drive, i could tell he was kinda nervouc but excited at the same time. Once we arrived we went on a walk and start driving around and then ended up at a Helicopter place. I almost pooped myself, our of fear. Anyways, we went on the helicopter and it was honestly better than a plane, mhch smoother and felt safer. We flew through mountains and glaciers and it was the most beautiful thing ive ever seen! Our pilot informs us that we are going to land on a glacier and we can take some pics. Once we landed right away chris was ready to take some pictures together, i knew it was coming. As soon as he handed the phone to the pilot to take pictures he dropped to one knee and axed if i would be his hoe for life and i said yes of courae ill be your hoe for life. The end!
