Question

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

July 31

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire For women, think floor-length gowns, sophisticated midi dresses, or elegant jumpsuits. For men, think dark suit paired with a crisp dress shirt, tie, or bow tie.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests who are listed on your invitation and appearing with your name when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4 pm at Sand Creek. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the ceremony to find your seat. If you are staying within the hotel block, the shuttle will drop you off with plenty of time!

Question

What's the driving/parking situation?

Answer

If you are staying at one of the hotels in our room block, transportation is provided! See the "Hotels & Shuttles" page for more information and bus schedules. If you plan to drive yourself, there is plenty of provided parking at Sand Creek and the Dunes Pavilion! The venues are about 15 minutes from each other - just a quick drive down Hwy 49. The Dunes Pavilion gate will have guest names. When you arrive, please state you are with the Gottwald wedding.

Question

Do I need to pay to enter the Dunes?

Answer

Nope! Just say that you are there for the wedding at the Pavilion

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We will aim for an outdoor ceremony on the country club lawn, but have an indoor venue nearby just in case!

Answer

Mid-September in Northwest Indiana is typically a high of 75 and lows of 60s
