Our Favorite thing to get is a seafood platter and share it among friends and family! Don't forget to write your names on the building! Bucerías itself is a charming, smaller town just north of Puerto Vallarta with colorful streets, local shops, and a relaxed, welcoming feel.
A delightful smaller town along the Riviera Nayarit coast. With its pristine beaches, vibrant arts scene, and warm, welcoming locals, San Pancho is a true gem. While we visited our favorite thing was sitting on the quiet, secluded beach and grabbing an iced cold coffee!
If you're looking for a lively surf town full of energy, color, and fun. Sayulita is the place to be! Just a short drive from Puerto Vallarta, this boho-chic beach town is known for its great surfing, vibrant streets, and laid-back vibe. You’ll find everything from street tacos and fresh smoothies to trendy boutiques and handcrafted artisan goods. Our favorite place to visit every time we go is choco banana, they have the best shakes!
No trip to Puerto Vallarta is complete without a stroll along the Malecón, the city’s famous oceanfront boardwalk. Stretching for over a mile along the coastline, the Malecón is full of life street performers, local art, cute shops, tasty snacks, and some of the best views of Banderas Bay!
If you’re in town on Saturday morning, be sure to stop by the Olas Altas Saturday Market — a beloved Puerto Vallarta tradition held every Saturday from about 9 AM–2 PM in Lázaro Cárdenas Park in the charming Zona Romántica neighborhood. Wander through rows of stalls bursting with fresh produce, organic goodies, artisanal breads, cheeses, jams, and vibrant local crafts made by Puerto Vallarta makers. You’ll also find delicious ready-to-eat foods, vegan options, handmade jewelry, textiles, art, and live music — all with that authentic local vibe. It’s a perfect way to start your day and soak up the spirit of PV! After strolling around the market, the Romantic Zone is full of fun things to do and see!
