Question

When Should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the event as soon as possible! However, the deadline is December 1st 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the venue and shuttle with the total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We love and appreciate all of our guests, and while we would love to celebrate with everyone, we kindly ask that only those listed on the website attend. Due to venue capacity and our desire to keep the event intimate, we are unable to accommodate additional guests unless explicitly stated when you RSVP on our website. Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration, unless your child is specifically listed when you RSVP. If their name is included, we would love to have them join us for our special day!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request that guests dress in semi formal to formal wedding attire and encourage you all to wear tropical colors to match our destination! Ladies- Any floor length, midi or cocktail dresses work for women. Opt for bright spring or summer colors, avoiding any shades of white, cream, or off-white. As for shoes, we recommend a block heel, sandals or wedge sandals. Gentlemen- As for men, wear either a suit or a nice button up t-shirt or long sleeve dress shirt. This can be paired with or without a tie and worn with a pair of nice slacks or khakis. Opt for more solid colors. No Jeans, shorts, or hats, please!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided to and from Riu Jalisco and the ceremony location. Shuttles will be leaving from Riu Jalisco at 4:00pm, please arrive in the lobby at 3:45pm. More details to come!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar for cocktail hour, dinner, and the party! Drinks will be served from 6:00pm-11:00pm We want you to have the best time, so the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes, as the sun will be shining (hopefully) both the ceremony and reception will be held outside. Please make sure to dress appropriately, it will get chilly after sunset!

Question

Where do I fly into?

Answer

You will fly directly into the Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR), from there you will travel to the resort located in Nuevo Vallarta (a good halfway point between Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita)!

Question

Can I stay outside the recommended resort?

Answer

We would not recommend staying outside the Riu Jalisco. We would love to spend time with all of our guests over the wedding weekend!

Question

How Long Should I Stay?

Answer

We recommend staying from January 23rd-27th or January 24th-27th! Although you are welcome to enjoy the Mexico sun as long as you would like!

For all the days along the way
