Mike and Allison met in January 2019 at Culture Shock DC auditions. They both made the team and over the course of a year built a genuine friendship where they both had an opportunity to learn and create with each other. In 2020 when social distancing was thrust upon everyone, that was when they realized that they didn’t want to live a life without each other. As soon as Maryland lifted their social distancing restrictions, they went on their first date, which was a hike and a picnic at Patapsco state park. For the next few years Mike and Allison continued to grow and develop together. Their mutual interest in trying new hobbies, cooking together, and of course dancing through life became pillars of their relationship.
