June 14, 2004 - Caitie traveled to Minnesota from New Mexico to babysit her nephews that summer. When she was "off duty" Caitie would go running on the trails and would conveniently pass by Chris's house. Chris was grounded and was out playing basketball every day. Caitie stopped a lot to "tie her shoelaces" (ie. so she could breathe). They met. They talked. They dated. They broke up. 6 kids later and they reunited. Plus a baby Christopher. Exactly 20 years later, we're making it official!
