Why are you postponing?

Answer

Every couple trying to have a wedding this year has struggled with this same decision and there is no "right" answer. However, our vantage point of the COVID-19 crisis is unique due to our careers in healthcare and we are fortunate to have the flexibility to change due to our amazing vendors. Hopefully, the extra months will give the general population enough opportunity to get vaccinated and for the prevalence of COVID to significantly decrease.

Are you postponing getting married altogether?

Answer

Our plan is to still get married in April with a small ceremony of immediate family members, then we will host our wedding celebration on Friday October 1, 2021 in Austin, TX.

Question

Will the postponement celebration be a full wedding or just the reception?

Answer

We are still figuring out what this postponement event will look like, but we hope for it too look and feel as close to a normal wedding as possible. But let us worry about the details - y'all just come ready to CELEBRATE!
