Yes! The dress code is cocktail attire. This means that it’s time for you guys to break out your suits and girls to pull out your above the floor dresses. Please avoid wearing white.
Yes! Of course, with Maryland weather, it is hard to predict how it will be in December. As long as there is no rain, snow or other winter weather, we plan to have the ceremony (only) outdoors. Please dress accordingly! If we are able to have the ceremony outside (cross your fingers!!), there will be golf cart shuttles for guests who are unable to walk to the ceremony location.
Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only event — with the exception of Hailey’s siblings and first cousins! We respectfully request that your children stay home for the night.
Great question! There is a large lot right next to the venue. We respectfully request that the spots closest to the barn be saved for our older guests. If you plan to have a beverage (or a few), cars are able to stay in the parking lot over night! There is another event the following day, so all vehicles will need to be moved from parking lot by 11:00am on 12/3/22.
We are having an UNPLUGGED ceremony. This just means that we are asking for ALL phones, iPads, cameras or other devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we’ve hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we’d hate to have a well-meaning person’s phone blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want (& please send them to us!!). We promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. There will also be disposable cameras on each table for you our guests to capture some candid moments throughout the night!
