Flight

Fresno (FAT)

Fresno Yosemite International Airport is the closest and most convenient airport to use. It is about 45 minutes from the airport to the church in Visalia. This is also the closest airport to Yosemite, which is about 1.5 hours northeast of FAT. (The opposite direction from Visalia).

Flight

Los Angeles (LAX)

Looking for more of a Southern California roadtrip? Consider flying into LAX, renting a car, and driving up the Pacific Coast Highway. For a shorter trip, you can then cut across through San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly), go wine tasting in Paso Robles, and continue onto Visalia. For a longer trip, stay on Highway 1 through scenic Big Sur and Monterey, and then take 152 East back into the Central Valley.

Flight

San Francisco (SFO)

Want to see the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz on your trip? Consider flying into SFO and spending a few days in San Francisco. From there, it's about 3.5 - 4 hours to Visalia. Other airports in the Bay Area are San Jose and Oakland.

Flight

Bakersfield (BFL)

Bakersfield Airport is also an option, however flight choices are usually limited. It's about 1 hour and 15 minutes from BFL to Visalia.
