From Visalia to the General Sherman (the biggest, baddest, most famous Sequoia of all) it will take about an hour and a half from Visalia. Plan a minimum of 4 hours for a round trip visit to Sequoia. I would recommend 5-6 hours.
Shuttles from Merryman Station back to Downtown Visalia will be provided. There will be security provided for any vehicles left at Merryman Station overnight, so you can leave your car at the reception without worry. (Security provided until 6 am).
