1994 – Batia was born. (Obviously the more mature of the two of them) 1996 – Andrew was born. (The child-like energy ever present) 2017 – Batia and Andrew’s friend groups intertwined and ended up camping together at a music festival in Iowa. There they found themselves getting along like peanut butter & jelly...well maybe not peanut butter in Andrew’s case. 2018 – When their mutual friend moved in with Batia in Uptown, Minneapolis, Andrew stepped in to help (because of course he did) and soon found himself functioning as another roommate. 2019 – Their relationship continued to blossom, but while Andrew found himself ready to confess his love, Batia wasn’t quite ready. She was taking time to focus on progressing her career. 2020 – Valentine’s day that year, Batia was finally ready to make things official, but to not make things too cliché, she decided to wait a day. 2022 – After building their foundation, spending time with one another’s family, and day dreaming about their future together, Batia and Andrew moved in together! 2023 – Batia begged to get a dog the year prior, but Andrew kept her grounded and they waited for the right time – enter Olive! 🐾 9/13/2025 – On a sweltering Saturday in September, surrounded by flowers (Batia’s favorite) at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Andrew got down on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of their lives together. Batia said YES (duh)!! 10/11/2026 – Batia and Andrew get MARRIED (!!!) and bring all their most important people together for the best party ever ♡
