Two area hotels have been blocked for the wedding. See the "Travel" page for details! We also have several activity and dining recommendations for out of town guests!
We anticipate the ceremony concluding around 3:30. If you are staying at one of the hotels, we suggest you return to the hotel after the ceremony and allow the shuttle to take you to the reception. Shuttles depart at 4:30 and 5and will provide transportation back to the hotels at 9:30 and 11:30 pm. If you are not staying at a hotel, we suggest you drive to downtown Birmingham (1 mile from church), park across from The Community House, and enjoy a drink at one of our recommended bars before cocktail hour begins at The Community House at 5:00.
Uber and Lyft are both great options if you are not staying at one of the listed hotels or are coming from another location near the Church or reception venue.
No one loves children more than Erin, however, the reception is strictly adults only (reception policy).
The church and reception venue are fully climate controlled. Formal/ cocktail attire is kindly requested for both the ceremony and reception.
If you are looking to continue the celebration after the reception, we recommended walking from The Community House to Dick O' Dow's or Townhouse for a night cap! There will not be any shuttles at the bars, however, guests can Uber/Lyft back to their hotels etc.
