Meet the people who are walking down the aisle with us!

Jonathan Hatcher

Best Man

Jon and I have known each other since I moved into the house behind his in the summer before second grade. He's a year older than I am, so he's like the older brother I never had and he’s definitely my mom's favorite son. He's so well trusted that he was allowed to take me to my first concert on a school night. And that was when I wasn’t even allowed to cross the street by myself...I won’t mention I was in high school.

Netanya DeRouchie

Bridesmaid

Apparently we first met at soccer camp, and I kicked her in the face with a ball. But I first remember Nettie being on my soccer team in high school - Little Leaguers forever! From foot-long hot dogs and root beer floats at Sonic, mix CDs, and tent sleepovers to "grown up" visits in Annapolis and recently taking care of me after knee surgery, this girl has been by my side since day one.

Jeffrey Chan

Groomsman

Jeff and I met playing tennis in middle school and have been friends ever since. We became even closer after college when we were both living at home. Jeff had a real job. Me? Not so much. Everyday I would wait for him to get home from work and then go over to his house to play hours of Call of Duty. He and Alex have also tried to teach me how to dress properly. It's still a work in progress.

Kathryn Ganley

Bridesmaid

Kate was my very first friend at Penn State. We were both in the same group in our women in engineering orientation before school even started, and the rest is history. Kate grew up in Annapolis, so we still get to see each other all the time. You can find us at trivia, bootcamp (when my knee isn't busted), croquet, watching LivePD in sweatpants, or playing with Kate's dogs. She has showed up for me when it matters time and time again, and is always there when I need her.

Michael Conway

Groomsman

Mike and I met at Boston University and became friends mainly to get away from our freshman year roommates. We then lived together for three years without somehow killing each other. Mike played baseball in college, while I pretended I was on the team. Not even the team knew the difference. I still wear my BU baseball gear to this day.

Melissa Pierce

Bridesmaid

During my last summer at Penn State, Melissa and I met in the entomology lab, where we both worked (everyone thought she was Amish at first). Basically, we played with dead bugs all summer. Singing two part harmonies in the field and eating Creamery ice cream almost every day was awesome. She's moved around the country about a million times (and I wish she would come back to the east coast), but no matter how far away she is, we can always talk about insects and trashy Bravo shows.

Matthew Laermer

Groomsman

Matt and I have known each other since high school. We became really good friends when we both went to college in Boston. Most of our best stories cannot be shared here like the can of diet soda on his 21st birthday or how our Olde English get-togethers with Edward ended up.

Kylie Sheplock

Bridesmaid

Kylie and I were both in the engineering program at Penn State, but it wasn't until junior year that we became friends. During our time together in Biological Engineering, we learned how to solder, how to make cheese, and how to play "stump". It's really amazing that we still have all our fingers. I drove her nuts in the process, but between doing homework assignments at the bar and going to "tater parties" we became inseparable.

Alexander Wang

Groomsman

Alex and I met playing tennis in middle school and have been friends ever since. He currently acts as my trainer, nutritionist and stylist in his free time. My mom calls him my life coach. He is also my eating equal and has been there for many of my greatest eating accomplishments, including the Phaal Curry Challenge at Brick Lane in NYC. He and Jeff were also early investors and customers of BTS.

Claire Tamburri

Bridesmaid

Penn State also brought me and Claire together, even though we grew up in the same town. We met through mutual friends and became Facebook official on Valentine's Day. I can always count on Claire for a fun time whether we are exploring New York, being slob-kabobs on the beach, or eating maple bacon on an air mattress watching Benjamin Button. We've had our fair share of shenanigans over the years, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Rachel Griffith

Junior Bridesmaid

Rachel is my little sister, so I've known her for her whole life! We've had some pretty epic battles over the years about closed captioning on the TV, going in each other's rooms, and eating the last scoop of ice cream - but that's what sisters do. She texts me every single day to tell me about work, to ask me what I'm having for lunch, and to say goodnight. Rachel is one of the most caring people I know, and always has something goofy to say that puts a smile on my face. I am so excited to have her be a part of our special day!
