To this day, they aren't entirely sure the exact moment they met - it was sometime in Spring of 2014 through mutual friends. Soon after, they realized that they lived across the street from each other. Ben started offering to give Megan rides to trivia and kickball every week. He even pretended he didn't have DVR so they could catch up on new episodes of 24 together (it used to air on Mondays during trivia). The rest is history! Fun fact - They didn't know each other yet, but there is a photo from Fall 2013 at their favorite pub in Annapolis where Ben is in the background of a photo Megan took with a friend who was visiting (you can check it out on the Photos page). Guess it was meant to be!

Saturday, April 28, 2018 - Megan was at her office working overtime on a project, and Ben was finishing up work for the day. They had dinner reservations at a local restaurant so Megan promised to be ready to go in time. After going home and changing her outfit about a million times, Megan walked downstairs to find Ben waiting for her down on one knee holding the ring. She said yes (of course), and after lots of happy tears, they went to dinner to celebrate. Little did Megan know, Ben had planned to surprise her even further. While they were at dinner, friends and family went to the house to set up a surprise engagement party, and celebrations lasted all through the weekend!
