What kind of weather should we expect?

Answer

October in Lodi is typically warm and pleasant during the day, with cooler evenings. Average daytime temperatures are usually in the mid-to-high 70s°F, while evenings can dip into the 50s°F. For the wedding itself we recommend semi-formal/cocktail attire. Since the celebration will continue into the evening, we suggest bringing a light jacket or wrap to stay comfortable once the sun goes down.

Where's the wedding ceremony and reception? How do I get there?

Our wedding celebration will be at the St. Jorge Winery located at 22769 N Bender Rd, Acampo, CA 95220. For those coming from the Bay Area, the easiest and most direct route is usually: Take I-580 East toward Tracy Merge onto I-205 East Continue onto CA-99 South toward Stockton/Fresno Take the Acampo Road exit and follow local roads to St Jorge Winery in Acampo. Depending on traffic and your starting point in the Bay Area, the drive is typically around 1.5–2.5 hours. We recommend checking live traffic before leaving, especially on Friday afternoons. For guests staying in Lodi, the best route to St. Jorge Winery will vary depending on your exact location, but the drive should generally take no more than 20 minutes. We recommend renting a car if possible, as rideshare availability in the area can be limited, especially later in the evening, though services like Uber and Lyft are still available.

Will there also be an East Coast celebration?

Answer

For those on the East Coast who cannot make it to California this October (a long way to travel, we know) we are also planning to have a celebration dinner in Onteora Park next summer. Your presence would certainly be missed in Lodi, but stay tuned for more details about Onteora Fete #2 to follow in 2027.
