Enjoy the couple's favorite brunch place! This is where Matthew asked Shannon to be his girlfriend and then where they celebrated after he asked her to be his fiancé. After, you can grab an open public dock to enjoy the refreshing waters of Donner Lake or take a walk around the Donner Memorial State Park. Nothing says brunch like America's greatest cannibalism story.

Nevada Beach boasts easy to access, spacious beaches. Perfect for a sunny lake day with the whole family. Zephyr Cove is a place to gaze at Lake Tahoe's crystal waters. With beachfront fun, iconic Emerald Bay cruises, and watercraft rentals! Gar Woods Grill & Pier offers great views of Lake Tahoe and fantastic rum runners with some hilarious names. Be careful though, one is fun, two is a party, three is the floor. Vikingsholm offers a quick, paved hiking trail down to a gorgeous Scandinavian castle. Make sure to stop at Emerald Bay's scenic turnout. Don't want to get your hair wet? Forgot your bathing suit? Then explore the many gift shops and local stores of Tahoe City. Walk the bike path with gorgeous views of the lake. For lunch, swing by The Bridge Tender for a burger and frozé. Or grab a slice at Za's Lakefront.
Come visit Shannon's old stomping ground before she ventured down to Reno. Downtown offers many delicious restaurants like our friends' favorite, RMU, or an artisan pizza at Old Town Tap.
