What is the dress code?

Answer

Funky-formal. Think floor-length or midi dresses, jumpsuits, suits, or blazer-and-slacks combos, but add bold hues, ruffles, creative prints, velvet, sequins, funky ties, statement jewelry, or standout shoes. We encourage you to show off your unique style. Have fun with it!

Are kids welcome?

Although we love your little ones, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone the opportunity to celebrate with us and enjoy a special night out. We are so grateful for your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

What's the forecast?

Answer

On a typical Reno day in late September you can expect highs of 80-90 degrees with 0% humidity. Nightly temperatures do drop significantly to 40s and 50s. Bring a jacket for the evening as our venue will be outdoors. The venue will be able to accommodate indoor space if rain occurs.

Is the ceremony unplugged?

In order to keep our ceremony intimate, we kindly ask that you put your phones away during this time.

Is there a local airport?

Answer

Yes! Reno has its own airport - Reno-Tahoe International Airport. It is located in the heart of the city, 20 minutes from almost all city destinations. The Sacramento (SMF) airport is another option, roughly a 2 hour drive into Reno.

Do I get a plus-one?

Answer

All guests and plus-ones will be listed on your wedding invitation.

Where should I park?

Answer

Lavender Ridge accommodates 50 parking spots for guest vehicles. Though, to ensure your safety, we highly encourage taking Uber or Lyft to the venue. Most casino-hotels do offer shuttle services for larger parties.
