Peninsula State Park
Another great state park to explore. We recommend hiking the Eagle Trail.
Rock Island State Park
You have to take two ferries to get here, but it is worth it! First, take the car ferry from Newport to Washington Island. We recommend visiting School House Beach while on Washington Island. Next, hop on the Rock Island Ferry. Note that no vehicles are allowed on Rock Island. Enjoy hiking, camping, and the beautiful shoreline.
