FAQs

Question

What does "formal attire" mean?

Answer

Mid to full length dresses, suits, etc. Tuxedos are not expected. Google "formal wedding guest attire" for inspiration.

Question

What am I supposed to do during the gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Please see our "Things To Do" tab! We have curated a bunch of options for things to keep guests occupied during this gap. We appreciate your understanding. You're also welcome to go take a nap.

Question

Is it possible I will upstage the bride with fancy wedding guest attire?

Answer

No. But don't wear white.

Question

Is there a block of rooms reserved for guests?

Answer

No. I personally like to pick my own hotel when I travel places so I projected the same perspective on my guests. We did list some suggestions in the "Travel" tab, though.

Question

What is the parking situation at the venues?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception locations have their own dedicated free parking lots, so there shouldn't be any issues with finding a spot.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

If the invited guests differ from the name(s) on the address label, we have written the names of those invited on the internal sleeve within the invitation. If the internal sleeve includes "[your name(s)] and guest", then you may bring a guest!

Question

My Save the Date said the Ceremony is at 1:30pm, but the invite says 1:00pm. Which one is correct?

Answer

The invite is correct. The Ceremony is at 1:00pm. Quadruple-checked with the Cathedral. Everyone makes mistakes. I will leave it up to your imagination as to whose fault this was. I will give you three guesses: Valerie's, Pearl's, or the Cathedral.
