Thai people use "Grab" instead of Uber- there is no Uber. Download Grab Superapp at https://apps.apple.com/us/app/grab-superapp/id647268330. Grab app is highly recommended over taxis, but take the MRT (subway) or BTS (sky train) if you can! You can order personal car or taxis on Grab. They are available throughout Bangkok. If you are staying around the Sukhumvit district, most attractions can be reached by sky train (known as BTS). MRT subways are also available throughout Bangkok as well.
