When we first started dating, Alex lived in New Jersey and Andrea lived in Chicago. We would take turns vising one another, however, sometimes the flights to EWR or ORD /MDW were very expensive. When this would happen, we would choose new (cheaper) places we hadn't been to before to meet up and spend a long weekend, which led us to Savannah. We first visited Savannah in August 2022 and had an absolute blast. We toured Tybee Island, enjoyed oysters along the river, and explored the city with our margaritas. It was here that our love blossomed even further and Savannah has become an annual trip for us ever since. When it came to deciding on a place to get married, we wanted to choose somewhere that has value to both of us and our relationship. We cannot wait to share this special place with each of you, our closest friends and family, and celebrate this once in a lifetime occasion. See you in Savannah!

After graduating college in 2019, we both worked for Toyota; Alex at the New Jersey Lexus office, and Andrea at the Chicago Toyota office. During our first year, we met at monthly trainings in Texas, and quickly became friends. Andrea immediately felt comfortable with Alex. Alex was always game for a good time, and Andrea got him into all sorts of things. Whether it was one more tequila shot the rest of the group didn’t want to do, or dragging him on stage at karaoke to belt out YMCA together, or riding around on a bellhop cart and being chased by the bellhop guy when we were caught, Andrea always felt connected to and seen by Alex, and we both had a lot of fun together. Alex was immediately drawn to Andrea for her beauty and wit. She stood out at our trainings for her leadership and intelligence, and he loved the fact that they bonded over things like music, traveling, and gym routines. Becoming friends was natural and easy, and from the start Alex knew he wanted to spend more time with Andrea. During a training in San Antonio in March 2020, our feelings for each other were revealed. Unfortunately, COVID-19 hit, and we weren’t able to see each other for a few years. Once it was safer to travel, Andrea made plans to see a few of our mutual work friends in Colorado. Alex caught wind and made sure to see Andrea by inviting himself on the trip. Fast forward to April 2022, Alex invited Andrea to visit him and go to the annual Blue & White football game at Penn State. It was on this trip that we officially became official. We did long distance until July 2023, when Andrea left Chicago & Toyota for a new career in New York. A year later, the two of us finally moved in together in Jersey City, where we reside today. We adopted a daughter (a tortoiseshell kitten we named Serafina), and have fallen more in love with each other every day. We thank you for attending our wedding to celebrate our love and commitment.
