Along with their first names- as cousins, the Golzar's grew up sharing everything: barbies, outfits, makeup, and an obsession with the "Spice Girls". As they grew, they shared life's successes, challenges, and in-betweens. Now they will be side by side to share one of the most important days of Golzar & Connor's lives! Golzar lives in San Diego and is an elementary school teacher.
Sean Kuehn
Best Man
Sean is Connors only brother and the best man. He has known Golzar and her family since her and Connor started dating back in high school. Sean currently works for the Air National Guard unit and Skywest airlines in Fresno, CA.
Shearin Lee
Bridesmaid
Shearin is Golzar's older cousin who always felt like an older sister. She watched Golzar grow up from the beginning and even had her as the flower girl at her wedding! Now, Shearin's daughter Aliyah is going to be Golzar's flower girl! It’s all come full circle and they're so glad to be a part of Golzar & Connor's wedding together. Shearin lives in So Cal with her husband and daughter. She is a freelancer, author and Creative Director of a children's book series/website.
Jordan Caruso

Jordan and Connor began their lifelong brotherhood in the 3rd grade. After years of life-endangering tubing trips and mischievous street-lit nights Jordan’s best friend was enraptured by a princess named Golzar. Fast times at Oak Ridge High comprised kingdoms fallen, interregnum, and hearts filled and broken. Connor, despite all odds of the human condition, triumphed gloriously as he and his bride conquered all but the apocalypse. The legends of kinship with Connor and Golzar - of her enchanting wisdom and his enigmatic strength of character - are indelible memories which inescapably inform who Jordan is today. Jordan could not possibly articulate what an honor it is to know the man they call Condog, and to have lived alongside him and his best friend Golzar.
Shahla Moreno

Shahla is Golzar's older cousin (and bridesmaid Shearin's sister). Growing up, Shahla was also like an older sister to Golzar. She helped her navigate a lot of her teen/young adults years- including helping her pick a college! Very fitting, as Shahla is now a counselor at UCLA. She loves spending time with her family. Her favorite things include tea, exercising, Homegoods, Rifle Paper Co., and exploring recipes.
Matt Bone

Matt has been a friend of Connors since middle school, where they became instant friends after learning each other's interest in music. It took no time for them to become very close friends, and that relationship has grown ever since. Connor was a groomsman at Matt's wedding in March 2019 in Chico where he lives with his wife and baby girl. Matt is a Sales Manager at Build.com and his wife is a SPED teacher for high-school students. Connor's family now lives in the house that Matt grew up in! When Matt heard the news of Golzars's and Connors engagement it caused him to shed crocodile tears of joy.
Elise Arvin

Elise is Golzar's sister-in-law, and she and Omied (Golzar's brother) are high school sweethearts too, which means that she met Golzar 15 years ago! Since then they've bonded over their love of makeup/fashion and taken several family trips to Hawaii together, including their most recent trip when Connor proposed! Elise was flying a drone overhead to capture the special moment! Elise lives in Napa and is a full-time lifestyle blogger ( @wtfab )
Kevin Brill
Groomsman
Connor was one of Kevin’s first friends after Kevin moved to El Dorado Hills. They met at Silva Valley Elementary School (“blue track” rules) in 2001 and have been friends ever since. The pair instantly bonded over their love of video games, sports, food, and music. Hard to believe they have been friends for 19 years and Kevin doesn’t play an instrument, other than the occasional triangle or cow bell. Over the years they geographically moved apart but their communication and friendship stayed strong. Even though Kevin lives away from Connor, they always make an effort to visit and catch up with a round of golf.
Megan Roberts

Megan is the groom's sister and Golzar's soon-to-be sister-in-law. She's a full-time personal assistant in Sacramento. Megan and her husband Eric live in Placerville and are always working on their property to make it their own! They have two sweet baby girls- Ella and Ahna! Megan loves her two 100 LB dogs Rudy and Petra, all things Disney, sending mail and going to the ocean.
Jake Schu

Jake and Connor have bonded over a love for music, video games, and movies. They first met in 2014 and since then have taken trips to music festivals, ski resorts, and many other fun adventures. Jake is a music producer, baseball coach, and a data analyst. Even though Jake lives in a different city then Connor they spend countless hours talking on the phone and Facetiming each other.
Taylor Wilder

Taylor and Golzar met in the 6th grade when they were assigned as partners for a science project. They've remained best friends ever since! Growing up they bonded over many things, including their love for dance- they even performed in dance recitals together! As they got older, Golzar got to witness Taylor's dream of becoming an elementary school teacher come true. Taylor lives in Sacramento with her husband, baby boy, and several fur babies!
Jake Wehr

Jacob and Connor grew up together in El Dorado Hills. Among other interests, Jacob shares a passion for music that made he and Connor fast friends. Jacob enjoys playing golf in his free time, and works as a turf-grass specialist in the golf industry. As a long time friend of Connor and Golzar, he can’t wait to see these high school sweethearts come full circle, to be bonded for life, as a married couple.
Leslie Waluszko

Leslie is a Labor and Delivery nurse in the Bay Area and has been friends with Golzar since 7th grade. As kids, they loved dressing up, trampoline sleepovers, and Tahoe trips! They've been there for each other for life’s biggest moments- and now as bridesmaids in each others weddings! Leslie is excited to see Golzar marry her high school sweetheart- she saw their love unfold from the very first Sadies dance!
Austin Simmons

Musician, rock climber, and friend. These are 3 things that encompass who Austin is. Austin and Connor are writing/producing partners and run a studio together. They met originally through the connecticut connection in 2016 and have been playing and writing together ever since. Austin is originally from Austin, Texas, but now resides in Los Angeles, California.
Winnie Ellerman

Winnie and Golzar met in high school, but they became buds at UCSC! Their college memories include dining hall adventures, study sessions, beach bonfires, and supporting each other's art. Winnie admired Golzar's gallery work while Golzar was serenaded by Winnie at her choir performances! Golzar and Winnie's friendship remained strong even while Winnie was in Africa for 2 years with the Peace Corps. Winnie currently lives in Sacramento and loves reading, cooking, music, and traveling. She has an adorable cat named Ruth (after RBG).
Wil Fernandez

Wil, is a person of few passions. Currently working Real estate as an Investor and Agent, and in the Film industry as a Director, Cinematographer (formerly a professional dancer / actor) He loves music and martial arts which is where the connection came about with Connor. Wil Met Connor training at a Krav Maga gym he was trying out, but then introduced Connor to the gym he was attending for MMA, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ( Kings MMA ). Connor ended up joining and they became training partners there. With the time shared on the mats you can only grow a bond of respect and genuine friendship. Fast forward a few years and laughs, now great friends to the point of sharing this special moment in Connors life!

Leanna and Golzar met in LA while working at a local café together. They soon realized how much they had in common and loved working shifts together. From there, a beautiful friendship blossomed- one that involved obsession with cute animals, eating yummy desserts, and having each other's backs through life's ups and downs. Leanna is an LA native. She's an actress, model and blogger. She's also a true foodie and major animal lover.
Dan Richards

Dan met Connor in 2019 when he was asked to join him on the road with recording artist: Anna Clendening. They spent the next five weeks traveling across America bonding over their love of music, Nintendo Switch, and Culver’s Milkshakes. Nothing helps cement a friendship like traveling 20 hours across South Dakota in an RV! Since then Dan has not only gotten to know Connor, but also his lovely bride to be Golzar, with them regularly spending game nights together with Dan’s girlfriend Beth.
Omied Arvin

Omied is Golzar's brother and Connor's soon-to-be brother-in-law! They met while Omied was away in college and Connor was in high school, but they were able to get to know each other over summer breaks through boat outings on Folsom Lake and family get-togethers. Since then they've bonded over their mutual love of video games, craft beer, and even a couple trips to Hawaii (the most recent of which he helped Connor propose to Golzar and was able to photograph the moment). Omied lives in Napa and is a partner at an architecture firm in San Francisco.
