Lake Tahoe
Tahoe was basically our second home growing up. You do not want to miss this gorgeous Lake and all it has to offer! Our favorite spots to visit are South Lake Tahoe, Zephyr Cove, Sand Harbor Beach, D.L. Bliss State Park, Meek's Bay, and Emerald Bay. Summer activities include: paddle boarding, jet skiing, boating/tubing, parasailing, hiking, gondola rides, and camping. Our favorite eateries include Red Hut Cafe, Artemis Lakefront Cafe, and the Forrest Buffet at Harrah's.
El Dorado Hills
Our cozy hometown of El Dorado Hills is where we first met in school. It's a short 5-10 min. drive from our wedding location! Check out our favorite local spot where we hung out as teens: Town Center. There, you can watch a movie at the Regal, eat some European desserts at Nugget Market, grab some delicious food at Selland's Market-Cafe, and more. El Dorado Hills also offers plenty of beautiful parks and nature trails for all levels. One of our must-see local spots is Kalithea Park- where you can take in the beautiful panoramic views of the foothills, Folsom Lake, and Sacramento.
Folsom Historic District
Check out the historic shops/boutiques on Sutter Street. Indulge your sweet tooth at our favorites- Karen's Bakery or Snook's Chocolate Factory. Explore the Lake Natoma Waterfront Trail.
Downtown Sacramento
Check out the State Capitol, Golden 1 Center, Old Sac Waterfront District, Tower Bridge, IMAX Theatre, parks, and more.
Napa
Visit wine country for a relaxing and beautiful experience. Go on a wine-tasting tour, have a spa day, or ride a hot air balloon.
San Francisco
Spend some time in the city! Drive across the Golden Gate Bridge, take a cable car to Fisherman's Wharf, or take a stroll over to the Palace of Fine Arts.
