We will be doing a two-day, two-night float trip (8/28-8/30) in southern Missouri the week before the wedding as a kind of joint bachelor/bachelorette/just for fun trip for anyone who wants to/can come. Kids are certainly invited too; we expect this is be pretty wholesome. You will need to bring your own camping gear (should be fairly warm) or there are some cabins available. This will be on the Northfork River. Basically, you camp at the mid-point of your float. So, we will camp the evening of 8/28. Will will be shuttled upriver to the starting point and float down to the campsite on 8/29. Then on 8/30 we will wake up, start floating at our leisure, and at the end of the float a shuttle will pick us up and take us back to our stuff at the campground. We want to spend time with all of you lovely people who came out to celebrate with us. This will be a casual get together where we can chat and hang out. Please note that this is an outdoor space. Food and drinks are available for purchase at Katfish Katys. https://www.katfishkatys.com

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres and dessert at the reception, but dinner will not be served. Please eat before the ceremony, and leave yourself plenty of time to make it to the Plaza by 6:30pm. There are dozens of great spots within walking distance of the ceremony location. Wear whatever makes you feel festive! You will be walking on grass, so be prepared to be a beast if you wear stilettos! Parking in downtown Columbia is free on Sundays, so feel free to park anywhere with a meter or in any of the parking garages (no need to pay). Alternately, there is a parking lot just north of the plaza at 800 East Ash Street next to the Armory Building. The Plaza is between Walnut and Ash Street and you can enter from either direction.

It's about a 5 minute walk (5 blocks) from the Plaza to Top Ten. There will be hors d'oeuvres, dessert, an open bar, and dancing. Please note that dinner will not be served, so please eat dinner before the ceremony.
