There are two options for travel from the airport to the resort. The resort does have a shuttle service they provide but is a little more costly than a taxi and really only necessary for larger groups. There are also taxi's that can provide ground transportation from the airport to the resort and are nearly half the cost of the shuttle service at approximately $35USD. If you're feeling really fancy and are looking for door to door service, you can also book a vehicle through dominicanplus.com. They offer minivans that hold 1-6 persons with 2 pieces of luggage each starting at $62USD.
Absolutely!! We've put together an itinerary that highlights the group events and meals, along with a wedding sprinkled in, that we'll provide to everyone at the resort. Our goal was to have time to spend together as a group but also allow for everyone to explore the amenities the resort has to offer.
Yes! Our travel agent arranged for a discounted rate for our block of rooms. This will also allow you easy access to the rest of the wedding guests for meals, beach dates, and excursions.
Anthony and Jennifer were intentional about choosing an "All-Inclusive" resort, both to ensure that food and drinks were not an additional expense during your stay and to give us easy opportunity to dine and enjoy refreshments together. Yes! Your children are welcome at both this resort and at the wedding. Anthony and Jennifer intentionally chose a resort that welcomes children of all ages. The "Reserve" section of the hotel is a location designed with families in mind as it offers an upscale "family concierge service" and private pool and beach for families. Although this section of the hotel is fabulous, it is not necessary for your stay with children. Booking within the wedding guest block of rooms is still recommended and welcomed. Yes, of course. You can choose the dates that you'd like to arrive and depart. Anthony and Jennifer will be arriving on Friday, April 26th and departing never... no Thursday, May 2nd. A timeline has been provided to give you an idea of the main events and other group events you are invited to join in on.
There are a few different Paradisus resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The two main resorts are the Paradisus Palma Real and the Paradisus Punta Cana. The hotels are known for their distinctly different atmospheres- the Paradisus Palma Real presenting a chic, modern, artistic feel, while the Punta Cana Resort possesses a more laid-back, lush rainforest and carribean feel. The hotels are approximately 2 miles apart from one another. The ceremony and reception will take place at the Paradisus Punta Cana. This is also the resort that Anthony and Jennifer have arranged block prices and where they will be staying.
