The venue offers shared chalet-style accommodations, along with space for two RVs and three tent areas—so we expect most guests will have a cozy place to stay. Please note that on-site lodging is limited. If you’d like to stay at the venue, please let us know in your RSVP. Booking and payment details will be shared once your attendance is confirmed. ***A minimum two-night stay (Friday and Saturday) is required.*** We’ll be thoughtfully allocating chalet spots once RSVPs are finalized to make sure everyone is comfortably settled. One convenient choice is Basecamp Lodge Golden, a cozy, timber-framed lodge nestled along the Kicking Horse River. It's just a short walk from downtown Golden and offers modern amenities with rustic charm. We recommend booking early, as availability can be limited during the Golden Ultra Marathon weekend.

Fly into Calgary (YYC) and rent a car or hop on a shuttle to Golden, BC (about 3 hours). Stop in Canmore or Banff for a bite or scenic break! The venue is just 13 minutes from Golden. Driving: From Vancouver, it’s an 8–9 hour drive through stunning mountain views. Plan for breaks and try to arrive before dark—the roads are winding but beautiful!
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own snacks, breakfast, or lunch items. Each chalet has a small kitchen but feel free to check out the Eat Like a Local section for Golden’s best restaurants. HOWEVER, we’ll be providing food and drinks for the Welcome BBQ, Cocktail Hour, and Reception *Note: During the cocktail and reception, no outside alcoholic drinks are allowed.
Yes! Even if you know where you're staying, please check in when you arrive so we can welcome you properly, share important info, and make sure everything’s set for your stay.

Expected temperatures in mid-September are usually mild during the day—around 20°C—with cooler evenings that can drop as low as 5°C. We recommend layering up and having a warm layer handy for the evening!
We ask that all phones be turned off and that everyone focuses on living in the moment during our ceremony. Our photographers will be capturing every special moment behind the scenes.
