Where is the wedding and reception taking place?

Answer

The wedding and reception will take place outside of our home. We will have tents, but please keep in mind the weather for late September, you may want to bring an extra wrap or sweater for later in the evening.

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Crazy question? No....not at all..... We recommend flats. No heels. Our event is going to be on paver bricks. Paver bricks and heels are not friends. We sat them down to try to resolve their issues, but no luck -- they really don't like each other. Please do not wear heels.

Where can I park?

Answer

If you can carpool or take a taxi // Uber from your hotel -- great! There is limited street parking. Please be mindful of our neighbor's driveways... we just moved here last year and do not want to take our neighbors hostage (yet). Although there are no restrictions to parking on our cul de sac, we need to make sure no driveways are blocked and the fire-hydrant remains accessible. There will be no parking available in our driveway.

Do you have any fun facts about Scotch Plains?

Of course I do! Everyone loves a fun fact. Scotch Plains was founded in 1684 by Scottish Quakers (hence, Scotch Plains).

What should I wear? Is this a Backyard BBQ or Black Tie Affair?

Answer

Neither Backyard BBQ nor Black Tie Affair...shorts would not be appreciated, a cocktail dress would be over the top and your birthday suit would be just weird. Shoot for Sunday Best+
