Question

Where in the heck is Osawatomie, Kansas?!

Answer

Osawatomie is about 1 hour southwest of Kansas City, MO. If you take I-435 S/I-435 W to I-35 S toward Wichita, you will take the KS-7 HWY exit and turn LEFT. You'll follow HWY 7 for about 27 miles. Next, you will take the Main Street exit and turn RIGHT. You will stay on Main until you hit 6th Street, where you will take a RIGHT. The Loft on Sixth will be directly on your RIGHT! If you hit Casey's, you've gone too far.

Question

Can you give me directions to the reception too?!

Answer

No need! The ceremony and the reception will be in the same venue. After the "I Do's", we'll all just head upstairs (an elevator is available) to get to the good stuff!

Question

The venue doesn't have it's own parking and I don't want to leave my car on the street; where can I park?!

Answer

The Loft On Sixth has an agreement with both banks in Osawatomie. All guests will have access to free event parking! The closest bank is Landmark National Bank and is located directly across the street from the venue at 600 Main Street. This lot should accommodate most of the guests, but if the lot is full when you arrive, please continue on to First Option Bank of Osawatomie. This lot is catty-corner to the venue and located at 601 Main Street.

Question

What in the world will I wear?!

Answer

The wedding will be semi-formal attire, but anything you want to wear we are sure will look stunning! Both the ceremony and the reception will be inside, so feel free to break in those new heels!

Question

Will there be booze?!

Answer

Abso-freaking-lutely! There is a bar in the venue where the bride and groom will be providing two different kegged beers, two different signature alcoholic drinks and chilled Fireball shots (if you know them, you know Fireball is their go-to). There will also be soda/water available!

Question

How can I make sure everyone can see the photos I take and post on social media without tagging everyone? Did you create a hashtag?!

Answer

Destiny definitely made a hashtag! Feel free to respectively take as many photos of anything and everything! Please be sure to use the hashtag #GoingSleichter for any photos or statuses you post! The bride and groom can't wait to see their ceremony/reception through your eyes!
