How We Met

Until we're grey and old...

Logan and Destiny have known each other for over a decade; off and on, of course. They first met when she was about 5 or 6 and he was 7 or 8, maybe? Logan was always the gross boy with cooties that repeatedly tried to wipe his boogers on her and always drank the last of the Kool-Aid. He probably couldn't stand the annoying little girl that followed him everywhere and never got in trouble for anything. Destiny wouldn't admit it then, but Logan was her best friend during those weekend visits. Never in a million years did she think that 12 years later she'd be getting a Facebook message from him that would flip her life upside down in the absolute best of ways..

The Proprosal

Shit just got real!

Logan made the mistake of letting Destiny know that there was a combined birthday-anniversary gift in the making. This meant that the surprise-hating bride-to-be bugged Logan and anyone who could know anything for even the slightest hint. The two love birds stayed at The Inn on Crescent Lake the weekend of their proposal. They had spent anniversaries there before and Logan knew Destiny had fallen in love with the bed and breakfast the moment she saw it. It was perfect for a proposal. Logan had planned for Destiny's mom to be there when he popped the question. He asked her to record the entire thing at "The Kissing Point" down the trail on the inn's property, but with the mother of the bride running late and Destiny being too impatient that morning to make it work, he opted to propose in front of the mansion. On the walk back from the trail's halfway point, Logan had to stand in Destiny's view of her mom's car in order to keep the secret for just a few more seconds. They walked around the grounds to the front yard where Destiny immediately started crying like a baby when she saw her mom standing there ready to record. Logan got down on one knee and the rest is history!
