When we said we were going to have the wedding of the year, we didn't think we would be the ONLY wedding this year. With COVID-19 and health concerns for our family and friends, we have made many changes to our original plan but ultimately have decided to proceed- with caution- following as many applicable protocols as possible. For our loved ones who are unable to attend- know that we will have a second reception when it is safe to do so. Please tune in to our Facebook live stream (link tbd).
Through a mutual friend we met in September 2015. The first day we didn't know we were meant to be, by the end of the second date we couldn't have it any other way!
Louie kept the surprise a secret through the London Raider's game, the romantic ambiance of Paris at midnight, and a coast to coast tour of Ireland. On the last morning of our trip, we took an early morning stroll to watch the sunrise at Irishtown Naturewalk, a beautiful stretch of inlet beach in Dublin. We settled on a park bench, admiring the view. He set up the camera to take a portrait of us- and of course at this point on our trip, I thought nothing of it. A few shots to adjust the settings, and then I looked to my side to see him asking me to marry him. I was so shocked, but my reply "Yes, I will!"
