Question

When/how should I RSVP?

Answer

Please send us your acceptance or regrets by May 1, 2025. You can RSVP right here on this website (click the RSVP tab) or via mail on the included RSVP card (it is pre-addressed and stamped for your convenience).

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are keeping the celebrations to our closest friends and families. If you are permitted to bring a guest, it will indicate "guest" on your invitation as well as your RSVP card/profile. If your invitation solely includes your name, we thank you for understanding that we cannot accommodate plus one's for all.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 3:45-3:50PM to find a seat, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. The ceremony will take place on the waterfront lawn - you will likely see the arch and the white chairs between the pool and Tickler's Restaurant.

Question

How will we know which wedding is yours?

Answer

We are the only wedding at Wylder the entire weekend! There may be other guests at the resort who are not attending the wedding, however, you will easily be able to find the event spaces. As the date gets closer, we will include additional photos to map out the property.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

For the weekend, you can! Your pup can hang with us on the property grounds, and Wylder loves pups. Just let them know when you reserve your room that you will be bringing them along, as they include an additional nightly fee. Please note that your pup is not invited to the ceremony, reception, and after party.

Question

Do I have to stay at Wylder or can I stay somewhere else?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at Wylder so that our guests can share their time with us all weekend long, without having to worry about any sort of transportation. So in short, we kindly ask that you stay at Wylder with us. We will have a ton of activities for you to feel like this is a destination wedding and a fun weekend away. Our welcome party and activities are our "thank you" for spending your time with us. If you don’t plan on staying at all, you don’t have to! We just ask that you remain responsible to drive yourself home. Uber and Lyft can be hard to come by in this area, so keep that in mind when planning your weekend.

Question

How do I book my room at Wylder?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at Wylder for our guests that you can book online or over the phone. Please visit the Travel tab for more information on booking your room!

Question

When can we book our room?

Answer

As soon as you are ready!

Question

When do we need to book our room by?

Answer

Our hotel block is now full, so you can book a room outside of the block, but you will not receive the 20% off discount that was previously offered. The longer you wait to book, the higher the rates will be... so be sure to book now!

Question

How long can I stay at Wylder?

Answer

Pat and Casey will be there from Thursday through Monday, so you are welcome to join the fun as long as you'd like. We ask that you review our schedule of events to make sure you don't miss anything on Friday or Saturday,

Question

What is parking like at Wylder?

Answer

There is plenty of self-parking available at the resort, and you can keep access to your car if you decide to take a drive to St. Michaels or explore Tighlman Island.

Question

Can I smoke on the property?

Answer

Wylder asks that you do not smoke on the main property and to please take your cigarettes, cigars, etc. to your car.

Question

When am I wearing white?

Answer

Friday night at the welcome party and the welcome party only! We kindly ask that you do not wear white at any point outside of the welcome party.

Question

Wait, it's on the water?

Answer

It sure is! The venue overlooks the Chesapeake Bay and you have access to water activities and waterfront dining during the weekend. If you'd like to bring your own boat to drop in the bay, there is a ramp nearby. You can also arrange for a charter boat to come scoop you from Wylder if you're interested in taking a ride in the water!

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes! On the official invitation, we have listed your meal options to include gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian entrees. If we have not indicated a food preference which meets your dietary needs, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Question

Are we expected to give a gift?

Answer

Since you are already committing to spending so much time, energy, and money on us already, your presence is plenty of presents! However, if you are feeling generous, we will have a registry tab available for you to check out.

Question

I still have questions

Answer

Okay! Just text/call Casey or Pat and we will be glad to answer any additional questions you have.
