Brian and I were introduced by a close mutual friend, Chris Talent. At the time, neither of us knew the other was interested. We proceeded to see each other when out with mutual friends, me usually talking to Brian while he just smiled and listened, not saying much. Since he never really had much to say, I figured he wasn't interested in me. Then one night after knowing each other for almost a year, he finally asked for my number. I was SO excited! We proceeded to hang out every day that weekend and have been together ever since.
Brian put so much thought and planning into making sure the proposal was perfect. As many of you know, we both love our dogs very much. Brian had the help of some of our great friends to help get everything set-up. Ashley Majors took me out for a girls night that was then to be followed by game night at our house. When I walked in the door of our house, I was greeted with canvases made with photos of our dogs posing with "Marry Me?" signs and dressed up for the occasion. Once in the house fully, the bedroom door opened and out walked Sox with a big smile and a sign asking "Will you marry Daddy?". She was followed by our two youngest pups, TJ & Porter, with bow ties on. Brian then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It could not have been more perfect!
