Matron of Honor
I am honored to have someone as special as Megan be my Matron of Honor. Meeting in Berkeley while she was studying at the UC campus and I had just moved there soon after graduating college, our friendship has truly blossomed into something beautiful over the years. Life comes with its up's & down's but Megan is always a constant. There's hardly a day that goes by that we aren't checking in on one another. Megan has been & will continue to be my rock - supporting me through all things - thick & thin. Megan is someone who will ferociously stand up for the ones she loves, and I can always count on her to be there for me. She is also getting married this year (congrats, Mrs. Beardsley!), and I am so proud to be able to be by her side as her Maid of Honor as well. Megan, I love you, bestie!
Best Man
Keller and I have been best friends for over 13 years, ever since we met the summer before high school. We played soccer together all through high school and competitively outside of high school, and even though he now lives in Colorado, we’ve always stayed close. We also share a love for BMWs—except Keller actually knows what he’s doing. He’s a full-blown BMW repair wizard and has rescued me from questionable car decisions more times than I can count.
Bridesmaid
Jesse is someone who I endearingly also refer to as my "soul sister," & I love her endlessly! I joke that she is my taller twin (because we seriously may actually share the same one braincell). Jesse & I met at the University of Washington - Seattle, and we hit it off immediately after meeting. Incredibly caring & attentive, Jesse has the sweetest soul. I will never forgot after graduation as I was leaving to go back to California & us just crying in each others arms trying to convince one another & everyone else that I should just stay in Seattle. While I did end up moving back to California and we don't see each other nearly enough, she's one of those special people where when you meet up again, it's like no time had past at all. Love you sister, Jesse!
Groomsman
I met Socrates through Abe, and we’ve been friends ever since. Socky is an MMA fighter, which is exactly as intimidating as it sounds—unless you know him, in which case he’s one of the nicest guys around. Fun fact: Julia and I officially started our relationship the day we watched Socky’s first professional fight, which he won by knockout. No pressure, Socky, but you’re basically responsible for this whole wedding.

Amara, sweet soul, where do I start! Amara & I first connected on Facebook looking for USF roommates and hit it off immediately over our love of Bob's Burgers. Little did I know, I would find my friend for life. Amara reminded me to find humor in the craziness that was Freshman year at USF that I carry with me as a reminder in this crazy experience we call life! From exploring Capoeira, making the weirdest foods in the common area kitchen of our dorm, to dealing with a rather unsavory third roommate - Amara was there through it all that first year of college and continues to be such a breath of fresh air. I can always count on Amara to bring levity and love to any situation and I am truly grateful for her presence in my life. Amara is also getting married this year as well to her soulmate & I am beyond excited for them! I am so thankful to have you in my life & by my side, sweet Amara!
Groomsman
Abe and I met freshman year of high school and have been friends ever since. We played soccer together back then and still spend time golfing and were in a recreational soccer league together—along with Julia. Abe is one of those friends who’s always down for anything—sports, hanging out, or pretending we’re still as athletic as we were in high school. Abe has been a constant presence through many chapters of life, and I’m grateful to have him standing by my side.
Bridesmaid
Izzy and I met at Presentation College Prep, and as friends there, I feel like our friendship has really grown in adulthood. She is such an incredible human, always reaching out and extending so much love to those around her. Wise beyond her years, I can always count on Izzy to listen without judgement and share the most thoughtful insights. Izzy is someone who I can really count on to be there for me and I am lucky to have her by my side. She is someone who will come to the function with the most delicious desserts you have ever had, and with the biggest smile on her face! Originally from Minnesota, she is truly midwestern hospitality at its finest! I am so thankful for you in my life, Izzy!
Groomsman
Ryan is my younger brother, which means he’s been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up together, we shared everything—family, experiences, and plenty of moments that are probably best left out of a wedding website. I’ve looked up to Ryan (although not literally, because I'm taller) my entire life. I couldn’t imagine this day without him standing next to me, even if he still knows way too many embarrassing stories about me.

Most people think Courtney & I met at Presentation College Prep, but we actually go back further than that! In 7th grade, my grade school, St. Martin of Tours, and Courtney's grade school, St. Chris, had a shared Spanish teacher who did a pen pal assignment. Guess who I got assigned to? Courtney! Although we communicated then only in the most simple of Spanish to each other (to the effect of something really deep, like: ¿Tu color favorito?), we had planted a seed that would become a beautiful friendship. We met in person Freshman year of Presentation and I was instantly drawn to Courtney's big heart. She takes care of her people, and I am so blessed to have such a special person as Courtney in my life. Thank you for being you, Courtney, I love you so much!
Groomsman
Patrick is the younger brother of one of Julia’s best friends—who also happens to be one of her bridesmaids. When we first met, we both had shoulder-length hair and whenever I cut mine, he grows his out & vice versa. Over the years, Patrick and I have been mistaken for brothers more times than we can count and at this point, we’ve stopped correcting people. He’s become a great friend over the years, and I’m honored to have him as part of our wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Amanda & I met at Presentation College Prep during track practice and she loves to tease me about how the first attempt at a friendship went. But I'm so grateful for it, because we have such an amazing friendship 'til this day! There are so many fun & special memories with Amanda where when I think of them I can't help but smile! She really is such a bright light in my life and I am so grateful for her friendship. Whenever we get together, it feels like we are at a writer's table for the best sitcom no one has watched (yet). Whenever I know I'm going to see Amanda, I have to prepare for side stiches because I know she will make me laugh so hard. I love you, sweet 'mandy!
Officiant
Jeanette is Julia's aunt and we are so proud to have her officiate our wedding. Growing up, Jeanette was always present in Julia's life and took a deep interest in everything she did. Whether it be school events, birthday parties, graduations - Jeanette was always there to share her support and love for her niece. And now she is here to support the union of Julia & Kyle! Caring, honest, thoughtful and kind, Jeanette is someone you can always count on to be there for you. These qualities make her the perfect person to lead our ceremony and to help us make our day that much more special. We are so lucky to have her in our lives! We love you, Jeanette!
Father of the Bride
Julia's beloved Father, Ken, will be walking her down the aisle. There aren't enough words to express how deeply Ken is loved and appreciated. Ken has always been there by Julia's side as a protector to show unconditional love & support and he will continue to be by her side on this special day. Ken is someone who shows up for those that he cares about - whether that be to share guidance, a listening ear, a quick-witted joke or a favorite movie quote. A provider, he is a man of integrity, care and humor and someone who Julia looks up to as a role model and hero. Love you so much!
