Some of our favorite food here includes Broad Street Oyster Co. and Taverna Tony. There's a lot of your normal shops here and some fun beachy boutiques. It's a good place to stop and pair with a beach day.
If you get into town early, we highly recommend spending a night in West Hollywood and going to a show at the Comedy Store. We've seen some of our favorites there like Bert Kreischer, Sarah Silverman, and Eric Andre.
For all of our East Coasters, this mall will blow your mind. It's all open air and a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. For food, we recommend their farmer's market for lunch or heading down the street to Bacari or Theia for dinner.
This is one of our favorite local streets for walking around, shopping, and grabbing a drink. The artwork on the buildings gives you a great taste of the Venice vibe without having to go to the craziness at the boardwalk.
Zuma is a great spot in Malibu for hanging out in groups and watching the surfers.
If you're planning to hit up the east side, definitely stop at Highland Park Bowl for a couple of hours, and play a few rounds at this historic venue. The cocktails and pizza are also fire.
You could google a million amazing hiking trails in the LA area, but this is one of our favorites with gorgeous beach views from the lookouts.
The Dodgers are playing the Cubs throughout our wedding week, so if you're coming early or staying late, there are fun games for you to attend! Not to mention the views around Dodger Stadium are unreal.
This is the rooftop at The 1 Hotel in Weho, and the views are stunning. If you're in the area and can snag a res, it's definitely worth checking out for a drink or two.
We love everything about this place. The wine, the food, the vibe. Enjoy amazing pours from around the globe, pair it with a pizza, and you can thank us later.
This beach will make you feel like you're in Cabo with it's gorgeous rock formations, crystal blue waters, and scenic views. It's also one of the most beautiful places to watch the sunset in LA.
Go walk around and picnic at the best school ever (Northwestern is also great, but definitely not in driving distance from our venue). Walking around Westwood and grabbing a coffee at Profeta is also a cute way to spend a morning.
This is an Emma-exclusive recommendation (last time Jon did spin he thought "Flywheel" was brunch). The class is on the beach facing the ocean and the music is lit. Do this if you're trying to get a little workout in before heading up to Westlake.
This is a Jon special recommendation. He says go with the Apple but also check what the seasonal pie is and hit him up for his POV.
